Accreditation of Prior Learning
Employability of workers is a hot item in the manufacturing industry. To improve mobility and flexibility on the labour market, workers must be able to show proof of the knowledge and skills they have acquired. Most workers have more to offer than shown on their formal diplomas. Knowledge and skills acquired through work experience and non-formal learning are equally important. Through Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL), workers can make their knowledge, skills and competencies visible, so that they can be determined and recognised.

VAPRO is accredited as an APL provider by the Dutch Centre for Accreditation of Prior Learning. We assist governmental institutes, sectoral committees, training providers and companies in other countries with developing and implementing the Accreditation of Prior Learning system and APL procedures.
