Workplace learning
VAPRO has a long standing tradition in learning at the workplace. Workers who have no formal qualification or whose education is outdated can benefit from a training programme in which they learn new knowledge, skills and competencies on the job. The workplace of the operator, laboratory assistant or maintenance worker is the point of departure for VAPRO Workplace learning programmes. By means of a Work Place Analysis (WPA) we determine the required knowledge, skills and competencies for a specific workplace. The training and assessment is based on the WPA and takes place at the workplace.

We assist governmental institutes, social partners, schools and companies abroad in developing and implementing workplace learning. We organise study visits to the Netherlands to learn about the VAPRO method of workplace learning. We organise training courses for experts from the fields of VET and industry to learn how to execute a Work Place Analysis and how to develop learning assignments and assessment checklists for a specific workplace. We train trainers and assessors to execute Workplace learning. Workplace learning can be applied to complete education programmes for operators, laboratory technicians or industrial maintenance workers, but also to specific topics such as HSE or Quality.
